The missing pieces...
The jigsaw piece is a fabulous symbol which has so many potential meanings for both the 'wearer' and those who come in contact with them. It is also a pretty cool looking shape which is instantly recognisable.
I have hand carved one of the pieces from an old English sterling silver shilling coin and the other is hand pierced fro an old brass/bronze 'thrupney-bit' (3d) coin. The two colours balance and contrast with each other beautifully. Small, cute, gorgeous and recycled.
Each set i create is completely unique, original and totally green. The flattened remains of the sterling silver shilling are also included for your interest. Its a nice piece of scrap silver with a fab history that you could give to a special person rather than giving away half your pendant!
