A lovely romantic hand cut coin pendant / necklace created using traditional hand tools. The birdy design is delicately crafted from an old English penny. Every pendant is totally unique and recycled

Inspired by a friendly little daily visitor to my garden, sitting on a branch in a tree opposite my workshop window. I decided that the sketch would really come to life if i carefully hand cut the design out of an old English penny coin.

The design is freehand drawn onto the penny. Several holes are drilled and the sections are delicately cut away. The edges are filed, smoothed and finally polished. The end result is a lovely, original, recycled pendant with a fantastic history.
